The snow won’t stop
nor will I. It will not inhibit, I will train., even though riding inside is equivalent to watching my chamois dry. Who am I kidding, this sucks… anyone that can ride on a stationary piece of equipmen, by themselves, more than twice a week is a stronger soul than I. It drives me mad.

Stevil out on a hot date. I wonder how he finds the time.

I feel good about our tight clothing, even smug sometimes. Not many people can get away with wearing skin tight shirts and pants. The one thing I wouldn’t feel good about is if my seat split, there wouldn’t be a thong to cover my ass and you would all get to see my private tattoo.

Frank Wadelton leaves Sinister behind. He explains everything below. What’s funny is, the way he spoke about and suported Sinister, I thought he had a deeper investment in it.
I’m happy to see he is still making bikes, and headers.
(1) are you still with sinister?
I have been self employed since moving my shop to vermont.(2) Do you still own sinister?
I only owned intellectual property (art and designs), not any of the business’. I sold Bruce a share of the IP for some cash and help getting my shop started, I gave Skye his share because he wasn’t properly compensated for his efforts while we were in Walpole. I have never been in a position of authority at Sinister, though at times I thought and behaved as though I was.(3) what about the Gruitr, Shenanigan and DNA?
I did design and build the DNA’s that were made in New England and I evaluated the original prototype of the Gruitr and provided a detailed report and feedback on the DNA and Gruitr frames that they purchased from another factory. I have never seen a Shinanigan in person but they look awesome(4) Do you still support the Sinister brand?
Absolutely!, Sinister was purchased from Bill L. by people who wanted only to steal taxpayer $$ and commit shameless acts of greed. When I realized what was going on (both times, Sonnax and Hicks) I jumped ship. After nearly working myself and several others to death and ending worse off than where I started I was badly damaged. Bruce basically saved me from total destruction. We are going on three years now and I have supported the Sinister effort as best as I could. At this point perhaps, providing a direct source of contact and continuing to build bikes and update my facility is how I can best serve the cause.(5) are you competing with Sinister?
don’t intend to. The Sinister forum is where I first post new product information. I am still just a factory with a very small grass roots racing program and a very narrow focus. Donnie and Becky *formerly of VonCooper are managing the FTW racing program.(6) Are you building Spooky frames?
I am a racer at heart. Perhaps a bit over the hill but still a racer. I think racers have a different set of goals and boundaries. I am used to the way racers behave. I am willing to accept people on terms that other would not accept. I think many of my customers accept that I reach my technical goals at the cost of pretty much everything else. When Sinister moved to Gloucester the brand changed it’s focus and I turned my back on the odd/challenging relationships that helped build our strong racing image. I would place Mickey in that category. I may sell Mickey frames or build some of his products. I will not be building frames that will compete with current customers products and have no current projects planned for Spooky production.
