Vacation ended Sunday night
But I still feel like I need one.
This will be the most random photo dump post I have done in months. Try to figure out what’s going on in my head.
My Mom was in town, it’s been two years. We traveled around and did the tourist crap also hung around our house with her. The week was so stressful , for so many reasons, I told my wife I need a few days in the woods with no one but our little family around. Now the challenge is to make it happen before summer is over.
We saw this sweet car. The guy wants $1200. Seems like a deal.
I raced a bunch, even rode MTB one night after two consecutive days of racing. My reward? well a top 5 one day and a beer the next.

It felt great to be in the woods. Although, all this road riding has made my handlebar height seem too high. Going to have to get a steep drop stem, or flip a pair of riser bars. Yes! A new trend I can start. Upside down riser bars. For the ultimate flat backed mountain biker.
Got to ride the new WTB Weirwolfs. yes they are fast and corner like Mark himself. I am considering challenging his title.

Dad, what time will you be home? Wake me up, I am not asleep when it’s dark anyway. We can ride bikes and hunt Weirwolfs, real ones.

I still rode and all was well. new tires have been installed, although they were my own personal NOS. Michelin Pro2 Race. I like the 3 better in the rain, and it rains oh so much.
Tonight is track night. Now riding with the big boys means I have to work hard and recover harder. Let’s shake things up a bit. See you there.
