Man vs Machine.. and your lonely taint
BKW mentioned a new chamois cream and how well it worked. I was intrigued and went for a closer look of my own. While reading about the product, and the few people that sell it.. I noticed their directions for use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Apply Friction Freedom generously to your taint before every ride and any area in your shorts/bibs where friction is created. Also apply Friction Freedom to the chamois after washing to maintain the suppleness of the original chamois. Do not ingest or put into the eyes.
Notice the word taint used. This was funny to me. A word we all know to be slang for the area between your a-hole and sack. Being used so officially. Does this mean beavis and butthead get credit for a new word? It should be in the dictionary now. Well atleast updated with it’s latest definition.
Taint

They are two of Great Britain’s hottest sports stars, both vying to be the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year, but they specialize in vastly different disciplines.
Thirty-two-year-old Chris Hoy won three gold medals on the velodrome at this summer’s Beijing Olympics and 23-year-old Lewis Hamilton is the youngest-ever world champion in Formula 1 auto racing.
Despite their reliance on different tools of the trade, promoters of the upcoming Race of Champions have concluded that the two might be able to match their respective skills in a head-to-head race over the course of a twisting one-kilometer route to be constructed on the field of London’s Wembley Stadium next month.
On December 14, the two will meet in a widely touted “Man vs. Machine” contest on a parallel track originally designed to test the mettle of top auto racers representing a cross-section from motor sport’s various two- and four-wheeled disciplines. As part of the pre-show entertainment, Hoy will match his acceleration and bike-handling abilities against Hamilton, a skilled driver who will be behind the wheel of a 600 horsepower Mercedes-Benz SLR road car.
Hoy, who will be astride his Dolan track bike, says it may be a tighter contest than many might believe.
“It’s going to be a great opportunity and an intriguing prospect,” said Hoy. “I expect it to be close.”
The course may offer Hoy some advantages, in that the king of the velodrome will certainly be able to dive through the sharp corners much faster than even the most skilled driver. Neither, however, is willing to predict a winner just yet.
“This going to be something very special,” said Hamilton. “I’ve done F1 demonstration runs away from race tracks before, but Wembley stadium is completely different. The atmosphere is going to be crazy.”
“It’s a completely different kind of venue to anything I’m used to,” Hoy added. “I think it will be great fun and I am curious to see what will happen.”
Wembley Stadium tickets for the Race of Champions will range from £18 to £199, but the event will also be broadcast live on Eurosport and Al Jazeera Sports.

_Friction Freedom and the use of the word, “Taint”_
After a year into developing Friction Freedom’s chamois cream, I had spent much time dealing with the physics and chemistry composition of the product… which can be boring! When building the website was upon us, I took the liberty to be have some fun and be creative, yet while maintaining accurate information. I actually put a lot of time into whether or not we should use, “taint” in the directions. I knew the word was controversial, but it was also very accurate. The feedback I received about “taint” was mixed, but by my gut, I decided it appropriate in defining how the product is used without being gross or offensive (or offensive to too many people)!
If you use chamois cream, or don’t but have pain on or around your taint, please try Friction Freedom. We know it works!

Thanks for the note! I assumed a lot of thought went into commiting to use the word. I aplaud you for doing so and look forward to trying it myself.
When will we see east coast bike shops selling it? Online retailers?

We are looking for East Coast Bike shops so please tell your favorite store about the product and get them to carry it! If you go to frictionfreedom.com, you’ll see that we are sending free packets of chamois cream for everyone to try. This will only be for a limited time as we are getting so many requests daily. p.s. just finished a 60 miler at a 22mph average and still have Friction Freedom working in my bibs. You may ask a why winter miles at 22mph with hills? It was because we had some big names on the ride, like Rahsaan Bahati(rock racing), Alexi Martinez(successful living) and Jason Bausch(former domestic pro).
