Bike re-born and crappy shippers

I was expecting an addition to the family last week. After monitoring the tracking I calculated it should be in town Fri. I waited all day impatiently.. looking outside for a sign of the delivery service. Knowing I had to leave at 3:30 to meet someone for dinner it was important the package arrived early.
It did… at 1:11pm they attempted to deliver it but no one answered the door at my office. I work in a secure bulding so you have to be buzzed in. Since this wasn’t our usual delivery person they didn’t know the protocol. This resulted in a missed delivery.

I was on a mission to locate it. After spending all morning calling multiple offices I found the one it was at, (I spoke to these people earlier and they neglected to actully look).

I ended up here. Waiting for it to be pulled from the cage, (far back left). I will share what it is a bit later.

When cross season beagn this year I remember seeing mud boots being sold for an obscene amount of money. I cannot locate the site or the link I had. If someone has it please forward it to me. When i read this advert it reminded of boots I bought years back when I was pouring a foundation for my house at the time. fantastic mud boots made in the US. I am currently wearing them as my snow boots. We get a lot so I wear them a lot. I am debating whether to wear them into the office or not.

Need a new derailleur hanger? A friend truned me onto these guys a while back. Service is fantastic. They can even help you select a hanger they don’t have listed. All you have to do is send a photo of your hanger.

Even better? How about an emergency hanger that can help anyone you are riding with?

This badboy attached to any dropout and provides enough shifting to get you back to the car. maybe even finish the ride. If I ever have to use it I will report on how long it lasted. I am quite fond of finishing rides I start.. even when my bike breaks.
